I have a Socom silencer (ccw) for an M4A1, its almost brand new and in a skirmish I tore up a couple of the foam inserts. I was wondering if there was anything people have found to use as a replacement, like something I could buy localy.

Nothing that I've tried or know to do on this one, sorry. I suppose you could try going to a hobbyist store, like Hobby Lobby, and seeing if they have thin sections of foam that you could cut up to appropriate lengths and widths, and then roll into a cylinder shape.
Not sure how well that would work though.
Conversely, I have seen foam insert kits for silencers on some of the Airsoft retailer sites, like WGC.

whats wrong with just leaving it the way it is? People can not see if there is stuff in there or not.

someone i know had the same problem, You can go to Home depot and buy the foam wrap to insilate pipes (smalest size) for about $3.00 for 8ft. It is the correct size for most silencers
