If my back is healed by then, I will be there, but the chances of that are quite slim
EDIT: Back is much better + gun is working = Ben will be there

Maelstrom is attempting to get a 100% turnout on the 6th. We are looking for some good airsoft action after a hard school year.

I am still planning on attending, but I have a rather strange question. I sent my stock away a week ago to be modified to fit a 9.6V 3300 mah battery. I was hoping (still am hoping) that it will be here by Sunday. Just curious, if any Ak47 owners happen to have a stock laying around that would not be being used on Sunday, could lend it to me for the day. I know this is a stretch, but thought I would ask anyway :D . Regardless, I will be attending and playing.

Will be there...in the shade as usual.

Like a vampire, but wrapped in burlap.

And with a reflection.

As long as laphta stays away from my neck I will be there.

unusually for me considering Hunters is a longer drive I will probably be there.
1300 is the usual start time, correct?

I might make it, but since the hunters website is down I need to know if they require a gurdian with you and if they have a waiver to fill out. Thanks alot.

06-05-2004, 03:21 PM
I do not believe they require a waiver or a parent to be present. I am 16 years old and have played 2 sunday games there before with no complications. For 12 hour Operations a waiver and a parental signature was required. Hope this helps.

Hydration is a good thing. Hopefully, everyone continued to do so during and after, as today was pretty toasty out.

Quick AAR (16 people played during the day):
1st game had Opfor defend Boise, which Bluefor was tasked with taking. Opfor was allowed 2 respawns, and I think Bluefor had 1. Bluefor moved in from the north and east, picking off a few Opfor. Opfor then regrouped in a fragmented skirmish line, which Bluefor eventually moved on and made it to Boise.

2nd game had Bluefor tasked with assaulting El Paso and then reaching Dallas for exfil, which was defended by Opfor. If El Paso fell, Opfor was to prevent 60% of Bluefor from extracting. Each side was given 2 respawns. Opfor respawned at Houston, while Bluefor's spawn point was Santa Fe. Bluefor approached El Paso from the north and from the west. Opfor defended El Paso well, covering the north paths, but didn't seem to expect the western movement. We were able to move on El Paso fairly quickly. Opfor then sent a couple more contacts back towards El Paso, but very limited as they sent others to guard the exfil. Bluefor left two members near El Paso as a harassing force, while the others moved north, circled east through Santa Fe, and then fought through to Dallas to achieve successful mission.

At this point, a few people left due to hydration issues and other unknown reasons. The remaining 12 people rested and then played a 3rd game.
Bluefor had 7 people assaulting and tasked with capturing Daytona. Opfor had 5 people defending the point. Each side had 2 respawns. Opfor was dug in well, aided by the very tall, green vegetation and various areas of hard cover. Bluefor sent a small team north and then east, a small team right up the middle towards Daytona, and then the last 3 guys east to hit the fenceline and move north. Opfor were spread out, covering each other, but Bluefor was able to push Opfor back due to the various flanks and capture Daytona.

I had fun. Sorry that Jake, Kenny, and I left early, we had to go do something. Now that my gun is upgraded I can actually compete, unlike last time. Hopefully next time I'll have a tac-vest, I sold my old one two days ago.
