Battery retailers in Austin?

So a friend bought a brand new G3 rifle and all the necessary accessories. And we're ready to go play this weekend. But the retailer that he ordered his battery from at the end of April didn't bother shipping it .. until yesterday. And it won't be here until next week.

Does anyone know of any retailers in the Austin area that can provide the necessary 8.4v whatever mAh battery for a Tokyo Marui G3 SG1 that takes a standard 8.4v battery in the stock? We need to secure him a battery before Sunday.

If he already bought one, I'd suggest just borrowing one for this weekend from a local player instead of bothering to buy another one......not that having a spare will hurt at all in the long run.

You might fine a 8.4v at one of the local R/C hobby shops, but your other likely best avenue would be Batteries Plus.

All good advice. Between this and the chat I think he's squared away. He's going to try to get a spare overnighted to get here Friday, barring that he'll likely post and ask to borrow someone's large-type battery for Sunday. Thanks all!
