I was just wondering what everyon brought to a normal weekend game. I know there have been posts in the past but people buy new equipment and things change. Once i get everything (in the process of buying all new gear) i will have

TM SR-16
LBV Advanced
Motorola radio with boom mic
2 450 rnd. high caps
6 130 rnd. midcaps
1 auto loader
Night vision monocular (if it's dark)

What do you guys normally carry? Any hints or tips on how to lighten the load or better distribute weight?

TM Ak-47 (400 FPS)
Tact. Goggles
2 600 rd hicaps
1 1200 round E-Mag (Coming soon...)
1 Autoloader
1 Camelbak
1 KSC Metal Glock 19
1 Russian Ak47 Tactical Vest

My loadout includes
-My SR25 (400 fps....theoretically ... )
-LBV-88 loaded with
~2 TM M16 300 round hi-caps
~1 TM M16 190 round hi-cap
~1 TM M16 standard
~2000 round bb bottle
~Radio and ear piece
-3L camelbak (OD)
-1L canteen (attached to tac. vest)
-1 Utility pouch (attached to tac. vest)
-Hellstorm Knee Pads (OD)
-Hat (woodland)

All of it weighs about 20 pounds....sometimes i lighten my load a little during small games, but overall i don't mind too much.

Gun and BB's.

If you want to better distribute the weight dump the LBV and get a tac vest. I have the modular vest from Tactical Tailor and it is lightyears ahead of the LBV in terms of load management.

My loadout is pretty simple...at least I think it is.

ESS ICE eyeshields
7 TM Hicaps
2 TM Standards
WA Para-Ordnance HRT GBB
WA Infinity 4.3 GBB
Strider knock-off knife
2 165 round shower shells
Radio Shack radio
Pryme headset
Lensatic compass
IR Strobe(Ya never know when you might need one!)
Moscart Trap II
70 oz Camelbak in SOE camelbak pouch
Hatch kneepads
Tripwire for the Trap II

I usually carry all this for a regular game. For big scenarios I carry extra stuff in my BHI Raptor Pack.

ESS ICE eyeshields

Be advised that *some* fields locally require sealed eye protection, like TXPB for example. Hunter's requires it for players under the age of 18, I believe. I don't recall what the San Antonio fields require.

Well I have a pair of JT pb goggles and a pair of Bolle T800 goggles for fields that require sealed protection. The field we play on doesnt require it so I normally wear my shooting glasses.

You think you have enough mags?
How long does it take to load all of those?

03-12-2004, 12:43 PM
well, if you start the night before the game its not bad!!! I dont usually use all of them myself. My dad tags along with me sometimes and its nice to have mags for him too! Its very cool to have 12 mags in my vest!

My loadout is as follows:
-MARPAT BDU's (Maelstrom's team pattern)
-TM SIG 552 (400 fps)
-Tactical Tailor 2-piece MAV (OD) loaded with:
~3 SIG hicap mags, 1 SIG lowcap mag
(in 2 TT 7.62mm Double Mag Pouches)
~2 bags of .25g BB's
(in TT Multi-Purpose Pouch)
~1 TM plunger-style mag loader
(in TT Single Pistol Mag Pouch)
~Motorola T250 FRS radio with police-style speaker-mic
(in TT Small Radio Pouch)
~Marine KABAR knife
(strapped to the MAV's shoulder strap)
~Gerber multitool
(in TT Multi-Purpose Pouch)
-Camelbak 3L Thermobak (OD)
-Tactical goggles
As soon as Lightfighter gets their RAID assault pack in OD back in stock I will be buying it and loading it with ridiculous amounts of stuff. I also need to get myself kneepads. Also, I could probably use some more SIG mags, considering each hicap carries a whopping 220 BB's! So, any of you with extra SIG mags laying around, send 'em my way :p
