I read a review on them at Airsoftplayers.com which told me ALMOST everything I need to know. I have been looking at these as an alternative to downgrading my spring. The m140 I have now is shooting around 480 according to an Online table. I was wondering if anyone here has/had experience with these things and If I could bring my velocity down to 400 from 480 with the reducer. Thanks so much.

That will not fly..... What is to say someone will not pull the reducer off when they cant seem to hit someone out there. The velocity limits are there for a reason. Using the reducer like that is cheating the system in my opinion.

Better for the mechbox to use the m120 anyways.

the velocity reducers only work on semi-auto! If you were to fire a burst it would only reduce the first shot and the rest would continue as they should.

Actually, I read a review in which a full auto test was performed. The test results showed that by the 30th BB on full auto, FPS had only increased by 25fps. \

test was with a 400fps M16, with velocity lowered to "stock" levels.
