Hey, I heard it is possible to take out unessisary plastic and parts inside the grip where the battery goes so it is possible to insert a larger battery, is that true or not?

hmm, i don't think i have the equipment to do that, would it be possible for any of you guys up at txpb that do upgrades on guns to do this, so i can fit the custom G36C battery in it? If so that would be great, if not, i'll find someone else who can
Once again, thanks for looking

I also have a g36c but instead of cutting all of the parts i bought a large 9.6v 3000mAh Ni-MH battery and just have some rubber band holding the battery under the normal foregrip. I'm pleased with the battery life now but I had to give up the realistic value of my gun for it, good luck with your project.

hey when you have that large battery outside of the g36c, does it get in the way, or is it still comfortable to use?

You could order an 1050 or 1100 mah mini battery. These are the same size as the regular 600 mah mini battery, but last approx. twice as long. No cutting of your weapon necessary. www.batteryspace.com has a sale right now for two 1100 mah mini batteries for $19.99. You could also get a replica PEQ that contains a 9.6v 1700 mah battery. Mount that on the rail under the foregrip, and thread the wire through the hole directly behind the rail. You get a higher rate of fire, and extended battery life.

On the note of the PEQ that marimba mentioned they don't just come in 1700 form, there are also 9.6 3300mah PEQs out there. G&P to be specific makes one.

You could also go for the after-market larger foregrip and get a bigger battery in.
